Welcome to Our Little Patch of Golden Love

We’re a small, family-based breeder nestled in the heart of outback Queensland, about 40km from Roma. Life out here moves a little slower, and that’s exactly how we like it—because raising puppies the right way takes time, love, and patience.

Our Golden Retrievers aren’t just dogs—they’re family. We breed for temperament, health, and versatility, always putting the wellbeing of our dogs first. Because we’re not a large-scale operation, we don’t have puppies available year-round. Every litter is carefully planned, raised, and nurtured as part of our family life.

Our dogs grow up on wide open acreage, surrounded by the happy chaos of kids, cats, cows, chickens, ducks, geese, and other dogs. They are amongst nature and fresh air. They live both inside and outside, come along on family holidays, and are loved from the moment they open their eyes.

We’re a young, active family with four kids aged 18, 16, 14, and 9—all of whom play a hands-on role in raising our puppies. From day one, our pups are handled with care, exposed to a variety of animals, sounds, and experiences that help them become well-rounded and confident companions.

Health is non-negotiable for us. All of our dogs are extensively tested—hips and elbows scored, DNA profiled for known breed conditions, hearts monitored yearly, and eyes checked and cleared. We are committed to improving the breed and carefully select each pairing to strengthen our bloodlines and breed out hereditary issues.

We do not sell to backyard breeders or place our dogs in guardian homes. Our focus is on creating healthy, happy, well-adjusted dogs who thrive in loving homes—just like ours.

  • Alba

    Alba

    Alba was born on the 23/08/2023. She is a beautiful, cheeky girl with a huge vibrant personality. She is known for her playful nature, and she is thief when you're not watching her. She has an absolute love for swimming in any body of water or puddle. She speaks on command or is especially vocal when she wants food. Her stunning dark red coat adds to her unique charm.

    Bunny

    Bunny is one of our own bred puppies. Her birthday is the 30/05/2023. She is very gentle, soft and affectionate with a particular fondness of cats. Her coat displays a rich, traditional golden colour. She is a beloved family member and sleeps on my daughter’s bed every night. She is highly intelligent, and has mastered a variety of impressive tricks.

    Yeti

    Yeti is our promising upcoming stud male born 05/04/2025. He has traveled all the way from New Zealand and comes from a distinguished line, with his father being a full pedigree field retriever. Once his adult coat grows in, Yeti will showcase a beautiful, dark coat. He is a very chill, handsome little dude and has seamlessly become a beloved part of our family.

    All testing will be done at 12 months of age.
